Jumpsuits
Are Back!
4 Styling Tips You Need To Know
Hi Readers,
Jumpsuits are back or did they ever leave?
I am a fan of jumpsuits. I’ve always liked how fancy they look and how this one
piece look can make a complete outfit. I know I am not alone when wondering how
to wear a jumpsuit. They can be a little intimidating and if you don’t wear it
correctly it can look sloppy or make you look shorter and wider then you really
are. There’s a reason you mainly see white or black jumpsuits, it’s easier to
wear and complements you.
Here are 4 Style Tips You Should Know
Find the Perfect Fit
Finding a jumpsuit that fits your body
perfectly is key to looking polished and put together. Make sure before your
buy a jumpsuit that you try it on first. Not every jumpsuit fits the same way,
so make sure you know how it fits before buying, I am a tall girl standing 5’8
so for me I have to make sure the bottoms are not too short for me.
Define Your Waist
I have to emphasize the point of not losing
your figure. A lot of jumpsuits have either a cloth belt or you can add a belt
to define your waist. Clinching your jumpsuit at the waist is a great way to
add some femininity to your outfit and give you that curvy look defining your
waist.
Wear A Solid Color
A solid jumpsuit is elongating since its
one unbroken vertical line the eye moves easily up and down without
interruption. Once you feel comfortable in a black or white jumpsuit, experiment
by adding some pattern or splashes of color. I am a fan of bright bold colors
when I wear a jumpsuit because it leaves me feeling confident and stylish.
Pair It With Heels
If you’re wearing a wide leg jumpsuit pair
it with a pair of heels. Give yourself that extra humph with some open toe
heels to compliment your look. If you petite and short pairing your jumpsuit
with heels will give you the illusion that you are taller. With that being said
for my tall women pairing a jumpsuit with sandals or flats are fine too! Always
remember to try on your jumpsuit and play around with shoes and other accessories.
Just because it works for one doesn’t mean it will work for all. Everyone has
different body types so make sure to keep that in mind when shopping.
